A CPU and GPU benchmarking tool for PC

InfinityBench is a free utility that was developed by InfinitySoftware for PC devices. It is a lightweight and easy-to-use benchmarking tool that is used to test the performance and capabilities of your computer's CPU and graphics card by putting your system through a series of intensive tasks and processes.

Cinebench and 3DMark are other popular benchmarking tools that help test your CPU and GPU respectively. InfinityBench is another option that is able to test for both types of hardware in a single program, as well as being able to test your internet connection with its built-in speed test.

How do I use InfinityBench?

InfinityBench features a simple and clean user interface. When you first open it, it will provide you with some basic system information that includes details about your CPU, RAM, Motherboard, and GPU. To start a test, choose your specific GPU model from the drop-down menu. After that, click on the large icon on the left side to start the test.

Once done, InfinityBench will present you with results showing various scores for your CPU and GPU, total average, as well as the time elapsed. The tool will assign a grade based on the outcome of the test, as well. It will also ask you if you want to submit your scores to its online CPU chart where you can see other user-submitted scores.

Lastly, you can click on the Dev option at the top to access options to test your internet connection speeds using Ookla, as well as choosing from single-core or multi-core CPU tests. Some things could use some improvements, though. For one, tests can't be stopped once they've started. Another is that there is no export option for test result data.

A fast and lightweight benchmark tool

In summary, if all you're after is a fast and simple way to test the capabilities of your CPU and GPU hardware, InfinityBench is a benchmarking tool that's worth a look. It's lightweight, easy to use, and can run single-core or multi-core tests. Aside from some minor nitpicks, it is a highly recommended program to check out.

Softonic

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.

We’d like to highlight that from time to time, we may miss a potentially malicious software program. To continue promising you a malware-free catalog of programs and apps, our team has integrated a Report Software feature in every catalog page that loops your feedback back to us.

Flag any particular issues you may encounter and Softonic will address those concerns as soon as possible.
